Another fantastic 20Books Vegas. Today’s panel was on writing action/fight scenes—with some extremely talented authors. Stop by the Horseshoe Event Center tomorrow (Friday) morning at 10. I’ll be signing books—with a gob of other writers!

More research for BAD RIVER. Readers of BREAKNECK might recognize the beach where Mim had an encounter with a hungry polar bear—across from the blue Barrow High School football field.

In Utqiagvik—formerly Barrow—researching scenes for BAD RIVER. Stopped by the whale bone arch that inspired Kensington’s terrific cover for BREAKNECK. One of the best things about writing Alaska-based books is visiting so many far away spots in this amazing state.

The book is still in production—but the cover art for Arliss Cutter #6 is up on online retailers. As usual, Kensington did a stellar job.

Another pic from our trip on the Alaska Railroad Glacier Discovery train. We practically had the whole upper level to ourselves. Easy to see why they call the place Grandview. It’s a great way to see Alaska—and get a little inspiration.

Took the Alaska Railroad Glacier Discovery Train to Grandview—one of the settings in Breakneck. There are worse places to write
