This is sad news. Bernard Hill’s portrayal of Yosser Hughes in ‘Boys from the Blackstuff’ remains a searing indictment of 80s Britain. He was also great in films like Shirley Valentine. RIP.

I’ve raised the concerns that residents are telling me about re. about the state of lower Castle park after yesterday’s music event and the issues with noise levels.

A massive thanks again to everyone who put their faith in the Greens again in Castle. I’m sure that Kemal will be a fantastic Councillor and I look forward to a fresh new start for the Green team.
