McCallie opens up play in the D-II East Region Tournament today. The Blue Tornado will host Webb in a best of 3 first round matchup. Games 1 and 2 will be played as a double header today at Kenny Sholl Stadium. Game 1 is at 4:00 with game 2 30 minutes after the game 1 final.

McCallie comes back to beat Boyd 9-6 and finish the regular season at 21-11. Nolan Sergeant had 3 hits. Bryce Sanders had 2 hits. Hayden Choate drove in 3 with a double. Mason Carver tossed 2 scoreless to pick up the win and Charlie Swanson threw a scoreless 7th for the save.

It’s Senior Night at Kenny Sholl Stadium. McCallie will close out the regular season with a 6:00 game vs. Boyd Buchanan. Senior Night festivities will begin at 5:30. Please come out and help us honor our 10 seniors.

David Stonecipher picked up the win in relief. Hayden Choate recorded the final 2 outs to earn the save. Stonecipher, Choate, and John Cardwell combined to fire 6.2 innings of relief without giving up an earned run. McCallie finished region play at 7-5 and now stand at 20-11.

The Blue Tornado drop game 2 at Baylor, 8-3. David Sabo homered. Game 3 is back at Mccallie tomorrow night. 1st pitch is scheduled for 7:00. The JV will get things started at 4:00 vs. Baylor.
