Meanwood Farm very early days developing the farm. Recognise anyone?

🌳This week our HOOF team of adults with learning disabilities took on the important job of tree planting!🌳
Clearing and planting new trees helps develop our coppice woodland area
and allows light ☀️to reach the woodland floor giving all plant species the chance to thrive 🌀🌱

Animals sheltering in the barn,
rain pattering down upon the farm.
Mushrooms 🍄and slugs
woodlice and snails 🐌
bugs 🐛 and birds all to prevail
despite the soggy weather
there is lots to discover at the farm together!

We are open today although it’s a little wet. Tomorrow (Wednesday) we will be closed all day due to anticipated very strong winds. This tree came down overnight at the weekend (no animals were in the field so all ok - just a broken fence) but it shows the power of these winds!
