Medi-Gators Program thrives on the dedication of leaders such as Dr. Kirsten Freeman who donate their time to pave the path for under-represented students in medicine and share their experience with the next generation of healthcare providers!

Last week, Dr.Kirsten Freeman, an assistant professor in the division of cardiovascular surgery, spoke to FLORIDA students at a Medi-Gators Program event. When it came time to sign up for the cardiac surgery session, just under 100 students put down their names.🩺🫀
