Lots of Hockey taking place for our primary schools yesterday East Grinstead HC. Am Festival and Pm Competiton. 🏑🏅 2 schools off to the Sussex final next month 🤩 School Games

Our Y5 hockey team played fantastically in the Y5&6 Quicksticks Hockey Tournament at East Grinstead Hockey Club. They played six matches (4 aside), finishing 4th in their group of 7 teams. It was evident just how much their skills, confidence, teamwork & game awreness developed.

Our Handball Festival was a great sucess today The Burgess Hill Academy.
Well done to our Leaders for running some great activities and enspiring our local primary school children.

Such a fun afternoon at the Y4&5 Handball Festival, along with 9 other schools. The Burgess Hill Academy Y9 leaders ran a carousel of activities to develop throwing, catching, aiming, shooting & agility skills. Our children 'loved playing the match - it was the best one!'

A great afternoon of Netbal Downlands PE Dept.. Thank you Downlands for your fantastic Sport Leaders who umpired all the matches. Well done to all the primary schools who took part and braved the rain. ☔️🌧
