Oh hello. Woke up with a new interesting pain. Not unbearable but well annoying. Oh well, good old biology. Being a bag of mostly water isn't always fun but what's the alternative eh? Got too much to do to let biology win. My nemesis, along with gravity 🤣🤣🤣

It's such an honour to be married to Diane Wallace for so many reasons. Today she was my repair man again, fixing the shower. Some might look at it as being about my being disabled but it's more about a relationship where we play to our strengths. I am a great cook. 🤣🤣🤣

One of the key reasons why our globe is so f**ked is the non-disabled ability to accept things being rubbish. It's how it's always been done is a mantra that the majority embrace but for disabled people we see the alternatives, the better solutions.

Well I'm sure fantastic research was carried out on this bizarre design, that fully supports its use. The kind of research I experienced this morning. Biased, confused & designed to find approval of something obviously not fit for purpose.

Feeling really down after this morning. I never thought as a disabled teenager that if I made it to the age of 60 (next year) I'd not only be facing the same inaccessible environment but would now be a public enemy. Imagine being a disabled teen today? Jeezus.

Attending the research today has shown me that disabled people are going to have to up their game on campaigning. We're being pushed back to the era of direct action. With the rhetoric around benefits & illness going around too, it's heartbreaking that we're back to this position

Just had to leave a research meeting on cycling infrastructure, after it became obvious it was skewed. Which is better for disabled people, bus bypass or bus boarder? Er without including as it was before or another solution, it's just which rubbish thing do you prefer?

Why aren't the seats next to the wheelchair spaces on trains easy to transfer to? I can't stay in my chair now my back is jelly but transfering is taking my life in my hands. Bad design yet again 🤪

My personal view on the recent attack on so called 'disability benefits' is... Before you aim at cutting benefits, what about pushing for a truly accessible inclusive society? PIP barely touches the sides of the extra costs of living while being so excluded.

I've moved my arms 7070 times so far today. Far less 'steps' have been done for sure.
