ChipStart is an incubator programme that will help UK semiconductor design firms get their innovative chips to the global market.

The 12 chosen companies include a team who are developing chips for brain implants that will help manage conditions like Parkinson’s disease.

I spoke at the launch of ChipStart, the Government’s semiconductor design incubator backing 12 of the UK’s brightest chip design firms.

Vaire Computing & MintNeuro are just two firms whose innovative chip designs are being propelled onto the global market over the 2-year programme
