.Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project partner Dimitar Stoyanov of Bird.bg in Bulgaria was attacked in Sofia by what he termed a drunk crazy man. It turned out to be a tax official and the journalist was arrested. Bird editor Atanas Tchobanov called the attack and arrest a provocation.
