Truly agree to Gary Neville. Though being in the education community as a teacher, I feel one evaluation test can not predict the future or value the potential of a child. Continuous evaluation and skill building helps to improve and move ahead towards a great future. @Wakelet

Wakelet 💙 Gary Neville Most professions are measured by what they do over a period of years. I believe that our students should be graded/evaluated by what they learn over time. And that learning will most likely be different for every student. Standardized tests are measures of memorization

Wakelet 💙 Gary Neville I agree with Gary Neville not only for Ss, but also for educator evaluations! Portfolios with evidence is a much better indicator of what a student understands and what Ts do every day in their classrooms.

Wakelet 💙 Gary Neville Portfolios are individualized, leading to a more subjective judgment by educators when grading. Also students can include work that is not their own, which is harder to detect than in exams. We need careful planning, clear guidelines, and support systems.

Gotta say, I’m with Gary Neville on this one! What about you?
