🇺🇦 🤝🇨🇦 have signed an agreement on medical partnership in the field of mental health and rehabilitation of the military. As part of the cooperation, Canadian specialists will share their experience to restore mental health and return to life for the military and their families.

🏥🧒 Ministers of Health, who arrived at the Satellite Summit as part of #flgsummit2023 , visited the Kyiv Children's Hospital Okhmatdyt, where children with the most complex and rare diseases are treated. 🙏 We thank for their comprehensive support for Ukraine and our children.

🇪🇪 Estonian Minister of Health Riina Sikkut visited Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 8, where Ukrainians are undergoing comprehensive rehabilitation. 🪖💉Since the beginning of the full-scale war, more than 3500 soldiers have been treated here, including about 1000 wounded.

🇪🇺 Today a meeting was held with the mission of the Council of Europe Development Bank – CEB➡️Social development bank for Europe. 🤝 The involvement of partners in projects to restore medical infrastructure and rehabilitation services and to support mental health programmes was discussed.

.Natasha Azzopardi Muscat & Jarno Habicht met with the Deputy Minister of Health Dr Serhii Dubrov. They discussed rehabilitation & access to care during the war, primary healthcare, health financing, mental health, policy dialogue & coordination, health care workforce related matters.

.Natasha Azzopardi Muscat and Jarno Habicht met with Ukraine's Health Minister Viktor Liashko, discussing emergency health response, mental health & EU accession. The Minister valued WHO's assistance in health finance & ongoing capacity building in health field.

🇮🇱 #Israel has sent Ukraine medicines worth UAH 100 million for the Ukrainian military. 💊📦 These are several tonnes of essential medicines that will help preserve their health and lives. 🙏 Thank you for your help.

🇧🇪 #Belgium will consider joining the International Medical Partnership Program recently launched by the First Lady of Ukraine in the Netherlands. 🏥🤝This program envisages direct cooperation and exchange of experience between Ukrainian hospitals and hospitals in other countries.

💥🚨During the full-scale war, russia destroyed and captured almost 500 ambulances. At the same time, thanks to international partners, Ukrainian medics have received 1305 units of medical transport as humanitarian aid. 🙏 We thank for their help.

More health workers are joining our home visiting programme with Ministry of Health of Ukraine! Over 300 nurses & doctors across Ukraine provide high-quality consultations at home to families with children aged 0 to 3 years.
