Enormous thanks to HSCWRU and in particular Monica Leverton and Annette Boaz for hosting me on my NIHR School for Social Care Research leadership award. Learned an enormous amount from a talented group - and a great environment for me to reflect on social care research. Right. Back up north....

It's been great having Mark Wilberforce with us at HSCWRU for the past two months. A fantastic social care researcher with a lot to learn from. Although I'm not sure the impression we've given Mark was equally as impressive...(as suggested by his AI depiction of his time with us)

Pleased to see so many people register just on the first day of announcing our Feb 2024 Home Care Research Forum. We're kicking off the year with talks on 'homeliness' in group homes, and supporting swallowing in homecare.

The event is free, online, and open to all.

We've now completed our 30th interview with homecare staff for the final phase of the DemChamp study. Our understanding of who #DementiaChampions are, what they do, and how they can be supported has really evolved from these interviews so thank you to all participants! HSCWRU
