Aye Write is a great, important festival that deserves public funding. But the Gov't bailing out a single project/org in a reaction to public outrage is not the solution.

If ScotGov wants to fund the arts, IT SHOULD INCREASE THE ARTS BUDGET. AS IT PROMISED.
