What I love about NZ is how so many of the same debates as elsewhere get played out, but funnier. This time on school students being allowed to protest or not.

21st century skills thinking is fascinating. It postulates creativity etc that can supposedly be taught in isolation as essential.

I wish I was as optimistic about the future... The skills needed to be a WW3 conscript or ecological collapse survivor never seem to get a look in.

This really is as good as people are saying, and reminded me of when I worked in a similar context at a similar time.

Two big takeaways... Always explain why, then explain why some more.

And, being a head is such a difficult job.
