Strand A lets us be disruptive in all the best ways. I think there's real power of we lean into the idea that we are constantly surrounded by opportunities to engage in literacy work, particularly when we embrace the texts that kids value and enjoy.

Both DDSB Innovative Education - Libraries and I are really proud of the work that Durham District School Board (DDSB) educators have engaged in. I hope that educators in ELAN and OSLA Council take inspiration from this work and find opportunities to collaborate in service of students in their learning spaces. 4/4
