It is commendable how the SADC Secretariat region is not making a false choice between conservation and development! The draft Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan under development is progressive, addressing biodiversity loss alongside the region's socio-economic issues.

I'm pleased to announce the 2024 AWF #CharlesRWall #ConservationLeadership & #ManagementFellows . Journalists to scientists, they are torch bearers of conservation and development. Together they will explore self leadership, leading teams and organisational leadership.

The AWF in partnership with University of Exeter is keen to open applications for the funded Masters degree in Conservation and Biodiversity, followed by a paid 1 year work based placement at AWF.
