Pile burning is set to begin today, April 10, 2024 through Friday, April 12, 2024 by Horseshoe Cove Campground. Treatments like these help us reduce hazardous fuels near campgrounds and elsewhere, especially ahead of wildfire season. Smoke will be visible.

Yesterday was International Day of Forests, today is World Water Day! It was created to shed light on drinking water needs, but we also want to mention the watersheds we work hard to preserve and restore, like the Sauk River seen here, photo: Anne Vassar.
