Eastern barred bandicoot inspired by a spotlight tour at Mt Rothwell a few years ago. It was an experience I highly recommend. Bandicoots, quolls, bettongs and brush tail rock wallabies doing their thing in a feral predator proof sanctuary. Amazing.

Daily Picture Theme Eastern Quoll, taken on 11 February, in the Sanctuary Mulligans Flat . The Quoll is endangered, and is being re-introduced to Eastern Australia through the animals in Mulligans Flat. Quolls are nocturnal, so it is very unusual to come across one in daylight.
