DA Schmidt joined a press conference today with Mayor Wheeler, PPB Chief Day, and PSU President. This group is committed to protect freedom of speech. But resorting to destructive behavior is unacceptable. Our office will prosecute these cases.

A Texas appellate court recently upheld injunctions barring the state from investigating & criminalizing families who seek gender-affirming care for their children. DA Schmidt supported efforts that led to this ruling, and he will continue to support and protect LGBTQ+ rights.
