3rd-5th graders took a dive into Greek and Latin roots but with a twist - they've created their own Greekymon card collection! Each card features roots, their meaning, and a creative Greekymon character inspired by it. 🏛️👾 Thanks Canva for Education and a little bit of Magic 🪄

My students went on a snack-tastic food web adventure to understand the flow of energy between organisms. They tracked the flow of energy using Stop Motion Video and Clips. What an awesome way to demonstrate learning! #DLDay #risdaim #TeamBrentfield RISD iTeam #Risdweareone
What do you get when you mix curiousity, wonder, STEM and Halloween🎃?? CANDY DISPENSERS! Designed & built by our gr4/5 engineers. The science? Forces, energy, motion, structures, simple machines. Handing out Halloween treats was a blast! 🍬 Cassandra PS Learning Centre 2 Toronto District School Board

Play doesn’t have an age limit! It truly is the work of children and a means for them to develop a whole host of academic, social & emotional skills AND, yes, knowledge.

Playful Angles and Coding 🛝
It was another Pixar Wednesday but thought it’d be more useful to breakdown this maths lesson.
Active, hands on, loads of choice and voice and so much learning (without them realising half the time!)
