CME WATCH - 2024.05.20: SOHO recorded 8 CMEs today. Some more data today. About halfway into the video there is a full halo event (type IV) at 05:36 UT. I don't see any surface activity, so I must assume it was a big flare on the far side. Note Jupiter exiting FoV stage right!

#EarthCARE is not alone anymore at the launch site!

As these pics show, the satellite with the payload adaptor attached was moved and mated onto the launcher payload attach fitting.

Sierra Space's Dream Chaser spaceplane, named Tenacity, has arrived from NASA Armstrong. Tenacity will undergo final testing and prelaunch processing at the SSPF ahead of its first flight to International Space Station.

China launched a #commercial rocket #Kuaizhou11 Y4 from #Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China on Tuesday, sending 4 satellites into orbit.
