Following coordinated efforts a number of recoveries have been made today. Thanks to support from Essex Police Rural Engagement Team a stolen Kubota excavator was recovered, and thanks to Police nationale 34 & Police Municipale de Montpellier, a stolen 2023 Land Rover Defender was recovered in the south of #France

We understand the theft of vehicles & agricultural equipment can have a disproportionate effect on victims in #Rural areas.

Today we recovered £80,000 of construction equipment from a #Nazeing industrial estate.
Happily, we’ve already reunited most of it with the owners. Investigations are ongoing.

Yesterday (21st Feb 24) Martyn WRIGHT from Hartington, Buxton was been charged with 6 counts of handling stolen goods and he will appear at Chesterfield Magistrates Court in March.
