Warehouse space at the Port of Morehead City is almost at 100% capacity! To keep pace with the strong demand for our bulk and breakbulk services, we are in the process of building a new 75,000-square-foot warehouse.

It’s “10-4”! Which means it’s National Truckers Appreciation Day. Members of our senior leadership team spent some time handing out goodie bags and speaking with drivers to learn more about their experience using the Port of Wilmington. We are so thankful for our truckers!

Our former container interchange is coming down this week to make way for additional container storage space. This container gate was built in the late 1980s and was officially retired in the winter of 2022 when our new South Gate Container Complex opened.
