Since 2007, Honda Aircraft has been a staple in Guilford County, providing jobs and investments in our Triad area. Today, Gov. Cooper and Japanese Prime Minister Kishida toured the Honda Aircraft Company facility in Greensboro and checked out one of the aircrafts 🇯🇵

Toyota has invested $13.9 billion into their battery manufacturing plant in Randolph County, bringing 5,100 jobs to our state. Today, Gov. Cooper and Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida toured the facility and received an update on the site’s progress.

The relationship between North Carolina and Japan continues to grow and thrive. Today, Gov. Cooper and Prime Minister Kishida Fumio will highlight our economic ties with visits to a Toyota Battery plant and a Honda Aircraft Company facility followed by a historic State Luncheon.
