Always a pleasure to connect with Arizonan, citizen of the Navajo Nation, & U of A alumna, Shelly Lowe, Chair of the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). She was Presidentially appointed to serve as a member by Pres. Obama in 2015 & appointed as Chair by Pres. Biden.

This week Chair Lowe Lowe is in Little Rock, #Arkansas to meet with NEH's state partner, the Arkansas Humanities Council, and participate in the “Next Gen(eration) Humanities Conference' on bridging the gap between education and careers for young professionals in the #humanities .

@NEHChair, Shelly Lowe, met with members of the Chicago Cultural Alliance (CCA) on February 13th to discuss NEH funding opportunities. Members were able to learn more grant possibilities to enrich their cultural centers and humanities programming.
