20 years in and ready to 25 more. Finishing article on cross-sector experience in schools for Independent School Management Plus, working and governance, and grateful for such opportunities to develop as a leader. Take a look at NGA For Schools & Trusts #VisibleGovernance Educator on Board campaign nga.org.uk/news-views/dir…
Well said Education Policy Institute. This is what is needed. Cuts in school funding as rolls fall would be devastating. Agree with distributing it in part per pupil & in part for deprivation
If you have ideas on education policy fit for the future, pls do join me & The Foundation for Education Development on the last Friday lunchtime in April. We want to hear from you. What matters most & how can it be achieved?

Please don't forget about the workload it produces for governance volunteers too. Increasing, complicated & vexatious complaints identified in NGA For Schools & Trusts #VisibleGovernance's report in Nov: nga.org.uk/knowledge-cent…
Yes of course we need to listen to parents and learn, but this system isn't working
'Workload is a serious issue for all; the good news is these new guides won’t add to it'
