Waiting list for suspected skin cancers drops dramatically 👏

Since May 2023 around 94% of people with suspected skin cancer are being seen within the two week target at Whipps Cross Hospital, thanks to a new pilot

In 2023, our advanced trauma team attended to 2,007 patients. This is a record number of patients, making 2023 the busiest ever year since our service began in 1989.

More than 2,000 patients have benefitted from robotic surgery since our funding in 2017. Our new investment will bring 3 new surgical robots to Barts Health hospitals and will increase access to robotic surgery for a greater range of conditions bit.ly/49q2kXH

Volunteers across London are being asked to join a study looking at the effectiveness of a mpox vaccine.

Since 2022 there has been increased UK mpox transmission.

It is running at four sites in London, and being delivered alongside NIHR CRN North West London
