Just a normal day yesterday. Went to work. Came home. Hugged the family. Had dinner. Wrote a poem from the perspective of being a cloud. Watched TV. Went to bed.

Finding it hard to concentrate with this door handle staring at me

Ok, it wasn't a 'yes', but still I was pleasantly surprised to be longlisted Butcher's Dog Publishing and I'm looking forward to hearing which poem it was. Thank you for the opportunity Dr Jo Clement .

to add to this, a well published poet pal showed me a FB post where one of his poems on a poetry site got over 4k likes which is kind of incredible.Then a radio station asked him on to read it. His publisher said that with all this activity he sold an extra, wait for it, 8 books!
