High temperatures today will vary from north to south, with upper 50s to low 60s possible north of the NYS Thruway and upper 70s to near 80 possible near the NY/PA state line. The temperature gradient will be tight due to a stationary front lying near the I-90 corridor.

It’s important to have multiple ways of receiving life-saving weather warnings and NOAA Weather Radio is one great option. weather.gov/nwr

Beautiful weather today, with warmer temperatures and sunny skies. Looking ahead to the weekend, it will be warm and rain-free most of the time - but there is a risk of showers. Chances for showers vary by location, with the greatest risk on Saturday.

Today will get off to a chilly start. Even with lots of sunshine, high temperatures will be about 10 degrees below normal. However, warmer weather is on the way with the passage of a warm front on Saturday helping push daytime highs well into the 70s for Sunday and Monday.

A cold airmass, clearing skies and light winds will lead to a downright chilly night tonight. No frost/freeze headlines since our growing season doesn't start until May 1st at the earliest, though temperatures will dip well below the freezing mark almost everywhere tonight.

Showers will end from north to south today, with dry weather following tonight through Friday. We'll also round the base of our temperature roller-coaster over the next couple days, before a marked warming trend starts Friday...eventually bringing us summerlike warmth by Sunday.

Our stretch of dry weather will be coming to an end this evening as a wave of low pressure crosses the region. We'll dry out by Wednesday afternoon, though there could be a few flakes in the morning before the sun begins to peek out, mainly across the hilltops.
