Day 21 - A very strange day today, having to deal with a number of issues and the major one was my phone decided to factory reset after I typed the password wrong too many times 😁

Anyone who knows me knows I am lost without my phone

Coming together with our local community to break our fast 🌙 👮

Members of the local Muslim community, special guests and both Chief Constable Lisa Winward and Deputy Chief Constable Mabs Hussain came together in Skipton on Wednesday night to share iftar.

Day 20 - Steady day at work today, although my fast got the better of me today. Honestly struggled and not sure why. Felt very tired throughout the day but Alhamdulillah got there.. These sort of days make you appreciate your life even more 🙏🏽

Fact:

Day 19 - Today for the first time North Yorkshire Police opened fast for the Skipton Muslim community. We had a full house which was great but also included officers & staff from NYP.

Day 18 - Today has been spent making sure everything is ready for tomorrow's event. Many thanks to @PCUAmireddy
for her help in organising our 2 Iftar events.

Day 17 - Had time to squeeze a quick hair & beard trim 😁
Out delivering food for Iftar today, what a great feeling to be able to open fast for people.

Day 15 - Lovely weather only results in wanting to sit in the sun. I still had a load of wood to chop. Last hour I fell asleep fatigue got me. Now full of energy again 😁

Hajj: to make a pilgrimage to Mecca at least once during a person’s lifetime if the person is able too

Day 14 - Woke up to lovely weather, garden duties commenced.. Alot of logs cut & Chris W 💙 can confirm that 😁

10 year wedding anniversary aswell and I didnt forget a gift but forgot a card 🤦🏽‍♂️

Once again many food deliveries from family & friends, spoilt for choice in food.

Day 13 - Annual Leave for Eliza's birthday! Time flies only feels like yesterday she was born. Trip to Manchester for her favourite ARCHIE'S burgers for lunch, and then evening meal in Bradford to open my fast.. Bed now and ready to relax over the long weekend!!

Day 12: Over the last 2 days I have had some difficult conversations with people where they have been challenged around failings! Unfortunately these challenges have not gone down very well and instead things have been twisted and false accusations made!!

Day 11: Steady day at work, shopping trip with the kids for some birthday clothes for my eldest. Feels like I have a 16 year old sometimes 😁
She has been asking to keep a fast tomorrow and is determined on not eating and wanting to do another day!!

Day 10 - Proud Dad moment, Eliza insisted on fasting, so I let her although many times I asked her during the day if she wanted food or water.. But this 6 year old wasnt having any of it.. Layla managed until 3.30pm so done half a day not bad for a 5 year old..
