Last year, we voted on about half the budget bills without a financial plan.

We are calling for more transparency and in particular, for a full financial plan to be made available to the legislators and the public before we begin voting on budget bills.

We think we have a spending plan just south of $240 billion

We think there is a housing proposal, something on crime & cannabis but we don't know

We have 211 legislators waiting around to see what is in the budget

Legislators are preparing to vote on a record-high $237 billion budget.

They’ll do so WITHOUT seeing a full financial plan.

Members of the NY Assembly GOP are calling out NY’s backwards budget process.

Right now, nearly 8,000 New Yorkers are waiting for an organ transplant.

As a cause very close to the hearts of many of our members, we encourage New Yorkers to consider adding their name to the life-saving NYS Donate Life Registry: donatelife.ny.gov/register/

Today, we shared our “Messages of Hope” which included personal experiences and prayers to help raise awareness about the power of organ donation during National Donate Life Month.

Here we are on Tax Day in New York State.

We have some of the highest taxes in our country.

New York also ranks at the bottom in many areas for economic outlook.
