Happy to share Laura Cacciaguerra et al study of lesion changes during attacks: ➡️ 10% of attacks have an initial normal MRI (radiologic lag) ➡️ MRI more dynamic than in or with T2-Lesions often appearing & sometimes resolving within attacks👇neurology.org/doi/10.1212/WN…

Delighted to share our study on CSF MOG-IgG! Testing in CSF was useful when: ➡️ A suspicious phenotype but negative serum MOG-IgG ➡️ Low positive serum MOG-IgG with diagnostic uncertainty as dual positivity in serum & CSF more likely to be 👇onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/an…

This study demonstrates that T2-lesions in MOGAD usually resolve within 1 year and follow-up MRI at 6–12 months showing resolution of all or most T2-lesions can help support a diagnosis over competing etiologies. bit.ly/46vX0B2
