Attended an early screening of the 'Napoleon' movie... it would be an understatement to say that it is bad... Waterloo being fought in what appear to be trenches is just one of a litany of problems... why, Sir Ridley, why?!

Fort Predel, built by the Austrians in 1808. An Austrian garrison under Johann Herman Von Hermannsdorf fought with the French in 1809. The French captured the fort and the Austrian dead were buried in a vault underneath the fortress, commemorated by a monument erected in 1848.

The main building of the University of Ljubljana, once home to the government of the Duchy of Carniola, where the Congress of Laibach met in 1821.

The Slovenians seem to like Napoleon because he made Ljubljana/Laibach the capital of Illyria (and because he opposed the Austrians.)
