That was a lovely Spring (yes it's finally here!) afternoon spent with the brilliant Somerset outdoor rangers at Brean Down this afternoon, planning for the #FestivalofArchaeology in July. Watch this space, we're very excited!
(Oh and the resident barkaeologist joined in too)
We are heading to Northern Ireland for today’s #HistoryHoliday . Carrick-a-Rede Cottage is a fisherman’s cottage with sea views, perched on the hillside close to the famous 200-year old Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge.

For today’s #HistoryHoliday we are heading to the Souter Lighthouse in Northumbria. Two Lighthouse Keeper Cottages stand at the landward end of the 75 foot Lighthouse, built in 1871, to ward ships from the dangerous rocks at Whitburn Steel.
