One would be hard-pressed to find an issue as divisive for a nation as race and civil rights. I have not read this new paper yet but given the cast of super careful authors this one is a must read.

I'm so excited about this new working paper, the first quasi-experimental study of racial discrimination in foster care decisions.

Since 1/10 Black kids spends time in foster care, but 1/20 white kids does, deeply analyzing disparities is key
