Natalie BBC Three Coercive control is so insidious & under the radar when we live with it for a long time. For me, it’s only looking back in retrospect that I can see it in its entirety. It makes our lives smaller bit by bit, until we are completely isolated & can’t make the smallest decisions.

We applaud Harriet Wistrich, for her ongoing work on addressing domestic abuse in the CJS and we look forward to seeing her impact in her new book. Whilst we now have offences like CCB, we must continue to progress how the CJS responds to domestic abuse, and most importantly survivors.

So pleased to have got out of that situation and now healed. Now using my experience to help others going through it.
