The West Coast Conservation Land Management Program spent a couple days up Knight Inlet in Da'naxda'xw First Nation territory recently. They collected monitoring data in the Glendale Estuary & admired the local wildflowers & birds. Thank you to Knight Inlet Lodge for the hospitality!

It's #BatAppreciationWeek 🦇 Of the 15 bat species native to B.C., 8 are at-risk or endangered due to threats including habitat loss & White-nose syndrome. We are working to protect and enhance habitat for bats, and are committed to testing for WNS on our conservation areas.

This past weekend, we were thrilled to be a part of the Brant Wildlife Festival 🦆💙🌼 We co-hosted the official welcome reception, Lift Off with the Mount Arrowsmith Biosphere Region & facilitated a sold-out tour of the Kwa'a'luxw (Englishman) River.
