Khan isn't in the least anti-car. The opposite, in fact. His biggest project, by far, is a £2.2bn road tunnel. He has ruled out pay-per-mile road charging. The percentage of TfL's income paid by drivers vs fare payers is set to decrease, not increase. He just has good PR people.

The fact that these attacks have started the same week the Green Party have had historic results makes the real motives here more than utterly blatant.
