At the invitation of NHRC Nigeria & UNDP Nigeria, I arrived in Abuja for an academic field visit on behalf of the UNWGBiz&Human Rights. I met with UN agencies in Nigeria, and the Director General of the NIGERIAN INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED LEGAL STUDIES. We discussed plans for promoting #bizhumanrights education in Nigeria.

Ministerial Service Award for Justice Sector. Charity Ovanya and Sagir Dauda won the o2023 award for NHRC.

At the conclusion of hearing, Justice Aboki, a retired Justice of the Supreme Court commended the National Human Rights Commission and other stakeholders who supported the panel in the course of the investigation.

Also at the resumed sitting in Abuja, the Military presented its address to the panel pleading non-complicit to the allegation by Reuters. The Military urged the panel to absolve it from all the allegations contained in the Reuters report which has generated concerns.

At the resumed sitting, the 7-Member Panel took testimony of the Hon Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Borno State Hauwa Abubakar Esq.
