At least seven of the nine arrested are current or former UF students. Note that this statement was emailed to reporters 16 minutes after police arrested them; at that point it was unlikely UF even knew exactly who police had arrested – they were booked later in the evening.

The sheriff did not tie the drug deals to deaths in the jail or give details on the type of drug that was being distributed, but at least 6 people who died in the Duval County jail during the timeframe of the CO's employment had fentanyl in their system

NEW: Travis County Attorney Delia Garza says as of now, her office has been presented with 46 criminal trespass arrests stemming from the protests at UT yesterday.

The court has declined all of those cases for lack of probable cause and released the individuals from jail.
