Thanks in part to gains won in the 2007-8 strike, we had Writers Guild of America West coverage for our scrappy, low-budget, and ultimately Emmy-winning, web series, The Lizzie Bennet Diaries. Ten years later, fellow writer Kate Rorick and I reunite on the picket lines! #WGAstrong

15 years ago, I was a script coordinator who had just gotten into the guild because I had written an episode of my show the previous season. We struck, because the guild could tell what was coming down the pike, and we needed to protect ourselves. We won.

Now we do it again.
