Eid-Ul-Fitr commemorates the end of the holy month of Ramadan, in which Muslims fast daily from before dawn until sunset. It is commemorated by a large, community-wide prayer service in the morning, followed by meals and conversation with friends and family and gift giving.

An 11yo girl who has published her 4th book has pledged to give the proceeds to charities helping to end homelessness in Croydon. Sarah Kittoe says her ‘mission is supporting the vulnerable in our society’ through the money raised from her books 🥹❤️
