Tune into #FilthyBritainSOS on Channel 5 at 8pm this Sunday to find out how students from our Geog & Env Sciences Environmental Monitoring, Modelling and Reconstruction MSc have been monitoring historic pollution at Lynemouth Beach in Northumberland (1/5)
The students have been regularly monitoring an old colliery landfill site, which is leaking waste onto Lynemouth Beach and into the sea. They were joined by a film crew from Lambent Productions on site and in the lab to discuss their findings (2/5)
