Texas football coach Steve Sarkisian is so happy with his QB room, he praised 4th string QB Cole Lourd for completing 5-of-5 passes during Saturday's scrimmage. Sarkisian said, 'His game has improved immensely. I mean, he's operating at a high level.'

Texas football coach Steve Sarkisian described Quinn Ewers' performance during Saturday's scrimmage as 'excellent.' He said Ewers had another good practice on Tuesday. ' Sarkisian said the timing with the receivers is starting to come into the fold.

Texas football coach Steve Sarkisian said QB Arch Manning arguably had his best practice on Tuesday: 'I thought he did a really good job of stepping up in the pocket, keeping his eyes down the field, and delivering the ball under some duress very accurately.'
