Upwards of 400 people are protesting the war in Gaza on the South Oval, also urging Ohio State to divest from Israel assets. Protestors are sitting in a square formation and chanting phrases, including 'The more they try to silence us, the louder we will be.'

Here's what I learned at day two of the encampment at Case Western Reserve University:

• University admin anticipates allowing students, faculty to spend the night again Tuesday
• No deal between student protestors and admin as of now

Continue to call for divestment, and don't allow the violence from police and university administrators to instill fear.

Okay, it’s been a wild 30ish minutes, but here’s a quick recap: the tents were taken down quickly, about 20 people (many who appeared to be students) were detained, but now look to be getting released and allowed back into the grassy area outside the library - sans tents.

Add Case Western to the list of universities nationwide where students are setting up encampments. The set up started around 930am outside the campus library. About 50ish people and 12ish police, by my count. Signal Cleveland
