A viaduct favourite, these blossom-filled little bushes filling some of the planters are actually mini cherry trees. They also have the best and most descriptive name: Prunus Kojo No Mai or Flight of the butterflies.

Many thanks to our volunteers from Manchester City Council and Clean & Green Castlefield who managed to fill almost 30 bags of litter around New Elm Road in Castlefield. It’s been a great day to continue our work on the Great British Spring Clean! #GBSpringClean24
