A week to go until our next webinar - and judging by the questions we are asked on this subject, it should be a popular one! All members welcome to hear the team from The Private Healthcare Information Network telling us about the data they collect and its uses. 👇🏼👇🏼

OutcomesFacilitator (PROMs) I agree and it’s something that BOA should be involved in to get peer consensus given its wide reaching and impactful approach Deborah Eastwood. May be I will add a comment to the BOA strategy survey to include modelling committee

Silly question for :
There are various classifications for grading OA in different body sites. They are all graded 1-4 I think. So despite the descriptions varying, broadly speaking do the numbered grades correlate so that degree of OA is understood to be same?

OutcomesFacilitator (PROMs) Mark Bailey Let’s Do Digital clinicians-who-code Absolutely Anji. modelling is so much fun given that you have specific domain expertise and creating archetypes is much easier and your paying it forward so that others can benefit through open source publication and reuse in any digital app/software

At Northumbria, we have ‘hospital grab bags’, which help our patients carry important items whilst in hospital.

Watch below as Sam Walker talks about how this can help and support patients with learning disabilities and/or autism who are in hospital💙

Wrote as a screening test results archetype. However, maybe imaging examination would be better? About to do long leg alignment views which would be good fit for latter. Results = varus, valgus or normal which apply to other than knee also.
Thoughts anyone?

Thoroughly enjoyed this evening listening to people whose work I admire and views I respect. The more one delves into the more perspectives, nuances, uses and possibilities one uncovers. Feeling hopeful, and excited that others share this passion.

Healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with joint replacements need to be aware of signs and symptoms of deep infection.

➡️When infection is suspected, patients should be referred back to an orthopaedic team promptly.
