This moment wouldn’t be possible without the CWHL, NWHL/PHF & PWHPA, and all of the players & staff along the way.

Times are uncertain for a lot - hoping all the players and staff/fans/volunteers land on their feet in some capacity in the new league!

Whats been your favorite CWHL, NWHL, PHF, PWHPA moment?

The PWHPA had 4 teams and the PHF had 7 (11 teams total)... Seems that the merger makes it a total of 6 new teams (which is half as big as professional women's hockey used to be between both leagues)... Call me uneducated but how on earth is this helping to grow women's hockey?

PWHL has announced their Original Six cities. The announced cities means at least 4 teams wont be a part of the reformed league. Lets take this time to mourn what we've lost

The disrespect to the players who built a product that was obviously significantly valued, to the point of creating a buyout & dilution by a competitor in order for them to succeed, by quoting PWHPA players in this release while disregarding any PHF players is astonishing.

So the PWHL is just turning out to be the PWHPA but under a different name so far, and it feels Bad.

PWHL New York has signed Canadian national team member Jessie Eldridge to a two-year deal, and PWHPA standout Kayla Vespa to a one-year contract.
