What an inspiring day of talks AMSA 2023 Conference and meeting fellow #invertebrate #evolution lovers Nerida Wilson Paige Maroni Sally Lau 🌊🐙🪸🐚 I had almost forgotten how conferences can be so refreshing, to share ideas, goals and even frustrations!
When Paige met Doris K.
As a child, Paige Maroni grew up on the southwest beaches of Western Australia and remembers being told, “Antarctica is just over the horizon.”
Today Paige is working with Antarctic nudibranchs or sea slugs.
One Antarctic sea slug has been puzzling scientists for years.🧐
But through the use of #DNA sequencing some of its secrets have been revealed.

Congratulations Paige Maroni !
A great title, “One Antarctic slug to confuse them all”🤣
a frighteningly large Doris K.detected in the centre of #Antarctica 😳
and a promising path for future research 🥼
Glad to have you on #TeamASF !
