Some much needed time off work, spent mostly local with family. I treated myself to a run too 🥰

Tumble tots and swimming confirmed my son is as brave as they come 😱

At tumble tots he wanted to dive into the foam pit and at swimming he wanted to jump in and get under water.

This work week was so important.

I finished my 4th Quality Account #ifyouknowyouknow

I passed 7 1/2 years working for Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS FT which is half of the time I was a #mentalhealth service user with the same Trust.

I’m proud of my work but more so my recovery.

If parts of the perspective don’t have the opportunity to be part of the discussion how good will the picture be? We must involve the person, their carers and the direct care staff in decision making and care planning

Just what I needed to round off a day that saw me send a 32,000 word document to 7 local authorities, 7 healthwatches and an integrated care board……it has some pretty pictures too 🫢

Now time to rest 😅

Out before work knowing the next couple of days are going to test my resilience.

It might be why I chose the uphill for 3km route 🫢

A stressful morning at work led me to get out for a run at lunchtime. I’m so lucky this is seconds from my door.

25 minutes later (plus a shower) & I was ready to be module lead on our post graduate course in reducing restrictive interventions.

The deadline is tomorrow. We are a super friendly bunch, we like sea swimming, cake, climbing, yoga, sharing podcast recommendations and are a constant source of support for each other. They’re all a bunch of excellent eggs, come and join us… #slt2b #sltsibmh #mysltday

Then off to pick Zoey up. She made it to the top of Souter lighthouse for the first time, we had a snack…..we are meant to be shopping but Zoey needed a power nap 😴
